Many ladies out there would like to have diamonds and expensive trips to romantic cities in Europe for the Valentines Day but that the current economic scenario would somehow nip in the bud of some rich people nowadays.

Check out some alternatives below that you can do for this Season of Love without breaking the bank.

Six Inexpensive Ways to Celebrate Valentines Day:

1. Consider giving a handwritten love letter or even a poem to express your undying passion through words.

2. Make a homemade card with your special photos, lines of handwritten prose or poetry, etc.

3. Choose and compile songs that will not only express love, but they can also be a way of creating a romantic mood for your partner.

4. Create a gift basket for her or a gift box for him. You may fill a basket with items she might love, a special lotion, bubble bath, favorite chips, etc. For him you might include a bottle of beer, a copy his favorite movie, etc.

5. Cook something for your dinner and serve the meal with candlelight, some romantic music, and instead of a movie out, you might find a good romantic movie to watch at home and cuddle up on the couch.

6. Buy him/her his favorite chocolate –chocolates can reduce stress and is a natural aphrodisiac. :)
